Saturday 15th September 2012 Paziols, France to Cadaques and onto
Barcelona Spain
Whole
household up early this morning as Jackie was catching early train from
Perpignan to Barcelona and two new guests were arriving later by train. Flurry
of activity and first car left, then we finished hanging out first loads of
washing before heading off ourselves with car neatly packed with luggage for 4
people.
Had
planned route again to avoid D117 so uneventful drive down to join the N8
motorway and over the border into Spain.
Detoured out to the coast to Cadaque, rather winding drive across the hills to another great seaside town, best known as the town near which Dali lived.
We had our picnic on a bench in the shade right on beach front.
Fortunately we were at calm end of beach as later we discovered there was a beach swimming race event underway further around.
